SEC-BG is seeking experienced Scraper Technicians to join our team for an exciting opportunity to work on-site in Western Australia. If you have a solid background in scraper maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting, and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Install, inspect, and maintain conveyor belt scrapers and associated components
✅ Perform troubleshooting and repairs to ensure optimal system performance
✅ Ensure all scraper equipment operates efficiently to reduce downtime and increase productivity
✅ Follow detailed procedures and guidelines to ensure correct scraper installation and maintenance
✅ Supervise and mentor junior staff in scraper maintenance techniques
✅ Maintain high-quality safety standards and follow all site safety protocols
✅ Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines
✅ Complete inspections, reports, and QA/QC documentation as required
✅ Identify opportunities for improvement in conveyor systems and assist in system modifications

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Scraper Technician or in a similar role within the conveyor maintenance industry
• Strong knowledge of scraper installation, adjustment, and maintenance procedures
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures and maintain a high level of safety awareness
• Experience in identifying and implementing system improvements
• Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain professional relationships
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Must have work rights in Australia

Desirable Experience (Additional Bonuses):

• Previous site knowledge and experience working in a similar environment
• Understanding of safety and well-being protocols on-site
• Ability to manage teams and enhance site productivity
