The award-winning Dean Group of Hotels (Walkers Arms Hotel, Largs Pier Hotel, Peninsula Hotel, Macs Hotel, London Tavern & Kincraig Hotel) is looking for an experienced handyperson to join our busy hotel group.

The role will include:

• Labouring, property maintenance, transport, painting, general repair work, renovations and replacement of furnishings and equipment, as able, or arrange for additional services to complete as necessary
• Keeping a log of duties and maintenance work undertaken
• Identify and address any issues or problems in a timely manner and report to managers concerning the need for major repairs
• Assist with set up of new furniture and equipment.
• Gardening, window cleaning, carpet cleaning and general cleaning duties

Key Attributes:

• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of various tools and equipment required for general maintenance tasks
• Previous experience in a hospitality environment and trade qualifications are advantageous
• Ability to work autonomously and to a schedule
• Must have current Driver’s License
