About the role

Airlie Auto' is seeking a qualified Automotive Electrician and an Automotive Electrician Apprentice to join our team in Airlie Beach, Queensland. This full-time role will involve working on a wide range of automotive electrical systems and components, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients' vehicles.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems in vehicles
• Install, test and replace automotive electrical components such as batteries, wiring, lights, sensors and more
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections on vehicle electrical systems
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical information to clients
• Work closely with the wider automotive team to ensure efficient operations
• For the apprenticeship role, you will learn all aspects of automotive electrical work under the guidance of our experienced team

What we're looking for

• Qualified Automotive Electrician: Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified automotive electrician
• Apprenticeship role: A genuine interest in automotive electrical systems and a willingness to learn
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current driver's licence
