Are you an Occupational Therapist with 2 or more years of experience, looking to take your career to the next level and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families?
At SMART Spot, we're on a mission to continue to provide exceptional support to children and their families, and we're expanding our services to include a transdisciplinary approach. In this role, you'll work directly with children and their families, across a range of different settings, using your professional knowledge to support them in reaching their full potential.
While this position is focused on providing high-quality care, it also offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our practice. As we transition from a single-disciplinary Speech Pathology clinic to a comprehensive transdisciplinary model, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure successful service delivery.
You'll work alongside a team of Speech Pathologists, helping to share your expertise in Occupational Therapy and how it can benefit our clients. This role is key to fostering a collaborative environment that enhances outcomes for our SMART Spot families.

About the Role / Key Responsibilities:
- Independent Clinical Practice: Manage a diverse caseload independently, leveraging your clinical experience to deliver exceptional care.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with our Speech Pathologists to explore integrated therapy approaches and contribute to our goal of providing transdisciplinary services.
- Family-Centred Care: Foster a cohesive and supportive environment by facilitating effective communication among families, care team and educators.

Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
- Currently registered with AHPRA
- Current Working With Children checks for NSW and Victoria or eligibility for both
- Eligibility to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Driver's licence
- Understanding of family-centered practice
- Commitment to informing and empowering families
- Strong partnership and collaboration skills with clients and allied health professionals
- Understanding of different approaches to paediatric assessment and intervention
