Property Network of Australia is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join a leading retail property group.

Based at a shopping centre on the Gold Coast, this role provides a strong foundation for career progression within the operations team. We are looking for an individual with previous or current experience in an operational or maintenance role within a retail or commercial property environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient functionality of the loading dock, including access control and fire impairment completion.
• Provide hands-on maintenance and general upkeep of the centre and its surroundings.
• Handle minor administrative tasks, including reporting, ordering, and follow-ups.
• Liaise with and oversee service contractors across various building systems, including air conditioning, security, lifts, and firefighting equipment.
• Maintain records of mechanical and hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in building maintenance, facilities operations, or a similar hands-on role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
• Basic administrative skills for reporting and contractor management.
