We are partnering with a Defence Supply Chain client who is seeking an experienced Security Consultant to ensure the security of their operations and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert security consulting services, including advice on risk management, threat assessments, and security strategy development.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, policies, and procedures, particularly in relation to sensitive or classified information.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with client systems and operations.
• Develop and implement security frameworks and protocols to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems.
• Conduct audits and security assessments, recommending improvements and leading the implementation of security measures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure security practices are integrated into all aspects of the client’s business.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in cybersecurity, risk management, and security technologies.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Current and valid TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) clearance is required.
• Proven experience working as a Security Consultant, ideally in the public or government sector.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other industry best practices.
• Strong background in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security audits.
• Experience with security architecture, incident response, and business continuity planning.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
