Busy Bees at Underwood is a busy 75-place service with conveniently located at the back of the shopping complex on the corner of Logan Road and Underwood Road, we’re just a hop, skip and a jump away from Eight Mile Plains State School.
Our Service is seeking a passionate & creative Early Childhood Teacher to deliver our Kindergarten Program. If you are an ECT with a passion for creating innovative learning environment and programs and are looking for an opportunity to display your leadership skills, this is the role for you!

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
- A current and valid blue card.
- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to deliver high-quality education programs.
- Ability to plan, implement and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual children's needs and interests.
- Skill in observing children’s progress, documenting their learning and using this information to guide future planning.
- Ability to work effectively with other educators, support staff and families to create an inclusive, responsive, and respectful learning environment.
- Ensuring an inclusive environment where all children, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities, can thrive.
- Engagement in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest educational trends and practices.
- Familiarity with relevant software and technology tools used for children’s documentation and parent communication.
