About the role

Reporting to Clinical Service Manager, the Clinical Educator will lead the development of GFA’s online training and professional development materials, conference submissions and external education programs, ensuring content is contemporary, evidence informed, adaptive and responsive to the perinatal mental health training needs of health professionals across disciplines. This role will also drive engagement across the Gidget Training Institute online learning platform, supporting enrolment, and monitoring uptake, completion, and satisfaction rates. This position requires a sound knowledge of perinatal mental health, excellent written communication skills, and a passion for adult education and training.

Key Accountabilities

The key areas of responsibility for the Volunteer Manager are:

• Develop and deliver online perinatal mental health education and training content for health professionals, and corporate partners.

• Coordinate communities of practice to support on-line content delivery.

• Support enrolment and management of online training participants to ensure a positive learning experience.

• Coordinate GFA’s conference program, including submission of abstracts, papers and posters.

• Coordinate GFA’s research partnerships and internal research projects.

• Provide administrative support for the development and delivery of online learning packages.

• Collect baseline and ongoing data relating to participation, program completion and satisfaction rates to support monthly reporting and continuous quality improvement.

• Engage with colleagues, members and external contractors.

• Attend required meetings to provide updates on projects.

Essential Criteria

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in nursing, education, or allied health.

• Previous experience developing or delivering adult education and training.

• Experience designing and implementing systems to track activity and impact.

• Excellent attention to detail to accurately maintain information on databases, CRMs or learning management systems.

• Collaborative working style with strong interpersonal skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to build cohesive relationships and resolve complex issues with various stakeholders.

• Ability to solve problems with creativity and sensitivity.

Terms of Employment

This position is part-time, 4 days per week. It will initially be contracted till June 2026, aligned to Grant Funding, with the possibility of extension. This position is based at GFA’s head office in North Sydney, with some opportunity to work flexibly, subject to organisational needs.
