About the role
As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for providing top-quality scaffolding services on a variety of projects, always ensuring safety and efficiency. You will work alongside a supportive and experienced team, helping to deliver tailored scaffolding solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients. The role involves site-based work and collaboration with the client, allowing you to develop and refine your skills in a dynamic environment. You will have a sound understanding of legislation, regulations, and codes of practice relevant to construction & scaffolding requirements on worksites. Additionally, you will supervise the work, coordinate your own team, and ensure that all work is completed on time and to Anderson’s Scaffolding quality standards.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:
- A current Advanced Scaffold High Risk Licence and a current Working at Heights ticket (preferred);
- A current General Induction Card (White Card);
- Experience in a similar leading hand role for a minimum of 2 years
- A team-oriented and customer-focused disposition, coupled with an accountable and results-driven attitude;
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships;
- A current driver’s licence;
- Police Check and Working with Children Check maybe required for some work sites;
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced team environment with the ability to manage competing priorities.
