Hussey & Co, established in 1975, are renowned for producing Australia’s finest gourmet baby leaf salad mixes.

We are looking for someone who has high energy levels, personal resilience and the ability to think on their feet will be critical for success.​

Hussey & Co operate a fleet of 27 new John Deere & Kubota tractors ranging from 8 series to 5 series, 55-300 horsepower. Experience is an advantage but is not necessary.

Rate: Hourly Rate Depends on experience – Hussey pay above the Agricultural Award and overtime.

Casual / Full-time hours available

Operators Required:

• Bed Former Driver/ Operator
• Laser Bucket Operator
• Land Prep Tractor Operator

Key Responsibilities / Skills:

• Attention to detail
• Bed forming
• Ripping/ Disking
• Hands on, energetic and pro-active
• Ability to work independently
• General tractor work
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Record keeping
• Basic computer skills/Tech savvy
• Adhering to company OH&S, policies and procedures, as well as maintaining machinery.

The following skills would be advantageous:

• Experience in tractor operation
• Mechanically minded
• A strong work ethic
• The ability to work on your own or as part of a team
• A hands-on approach to problem solving
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Shift work will be required depending on the Season
