About the role
To support this growth, we have a current vacancy for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer (Utilities, Energy, Strata, Property) to join our team. In this full time role you will report to the Billing Manager, and directly to our senior business staff. While also delivering outstanding service to our customers and stakeholders.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Managing the full Accounts Receivable credit function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in customer accounts, collections, debt management, reporting and reconciliations.
- Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.
- Preparing detailed reports and presenting them to senior business staff.
- Working autonomously to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
- Collaborating with colleagues to streamline processes and support the team’s success.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
About You
Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts role, with a solid understanding of financial systems and processes, and credit control
- Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident
- Ability to manage your workload independently while delivering high-quality results.
- A results-driven individual with a passion for excellence
- Clear and professional interaction with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and contributes to team goals.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
