JOIN OUR TEAM – Fully qualified Automotive Technician

We're open Mon-Fri, making sure you enjoy the full weekend off + 1x RDO per month.

Fridays are short, with a 3.15pm finish and a complimentary lunch provided by the shop.

We currently have an exciting position open for a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician / Shop Foreman (2IC) to join our team, who can work on various car makes and models in a busy environment.

Successful candidates should have strong diagnostic skills and expansive knowledge of various makes and models. (Previous management skills are not essential as training will be provided).

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

• Direct the team on daily tasks and priorities
• Preparing quotes for clients
• Liaise with clients and suppliers, and provide a high level of customer service
• Professional dealing with clients
• Leading the team by example
• Providing expert advice about the mechanical condition of vehicles
• Logbook Servicing, minor and major repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with a variety of vehicles
• Providing guidance to apprentice technicians
• Test driving & conducting quality assurance inspections
• Maintaining a clean work environment at all times
• Ability to think on your feet
• Be committed to workshop safety

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Trade experience with various makes and models, both old and new
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks
• Work effectively individually or as part of team
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles
• Provision of own hand tools is a must (General workshop tools excepted)
• Willingness to learn and develop existing skills and knowledge
