About the role

Dental Avenue Parramatta is seeking 2 full-time Dental Assistant/Dental Nurse to join our team in Parramatta, NSW.

As a Dental Assistant/Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentists and hygienists and ensuring the smooth running of the practice.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean working environment
• Preparing treatment rooms and equipment for patient appointments
• Providing excellent patient care, including greeting patients, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment plans
• Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
• Ordering and stocking dental supplies as needed

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant/Dental Nurse, preferably in a private dental practice setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient care
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using dental equipment and software
• A passion for the dental industry and a commitment to continuing professional development
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
