About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Cleaner on a Permanent Part-Time basis.

This is a 7 day a week opportunity commencing 6.00pm each night for approximately 3 hours per night.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and sanitising restaurant/cafe machinery and equipment such as deep fryer, grill, stove, pizza oven
• Cleaning stainless steel to be streak-free.
• Mix cleaning chemicals in correct amounts.
• Monitoring work areas for safety hazards and environmental concerns, reporting problems to supervisors as needed.
• Cleaning floors with mops, brooms, dust pans, vacuum cleaners, or other cleaning equipment.
• Cleaning walls, windows, floors, and other surfaces.
• Removing grease, oil, dirt, and other contaminants from machinery and equipment using solvents and detergents.
• Empty all trash into designated correct waste bins and replace liners as needed.
• Complete assigned tasks within the specified timeframe.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen cleaning
• Must have 1+ years experience in dealing with chemicals.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
