Position Overview:

As a Commercial Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's facilities are spotless, hygienic, and presentable. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks with attention to detail and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work in diverse settings, including offices, retail spaces, and other commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning Duties: Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and disinfecting surfaces.
• Sanitation: Maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning restrooms, replenishing supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Waste Management: Empty trash bins and dispose of waste.
• Equipment Handling: Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspection: Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and report any maintenance issues to management.
• Client Interaction: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or addressing any special cleaning requests.

Qualifications:

• White Card: This role involves some office cleaning on building sites, so a White Card will be required - you will either have a White Card already or be willing to obtain one
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years' prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning agents safely, strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check and provide references.
• Transport: Must have a driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• Right to Work: Must have the right to work in Australia.

Working Conditions:

• Hours: Currently between 10 and 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday with growth opportunities
• Environment: Work in various commercial settings, some of which may require evening work.
