The A-grade electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electrical equipment.

- Inspection and Testing: Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly and efficiently.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate work records, including job reports and safety documentation.

- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice and solutions.

- Travel: Occasional travel may be required to various job sites within Victoria.

Qualifications and Experience

Certification: Victorian A Grade Electrician Licence.

Experience: Must have new home wiring experience.

Desirable: 3 years' experience with electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs.

Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and relevant regulations.

Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Communication: Excellent communication skills.

Driver's Licence: A current Driver's Licence is required.
