The role

We are actively seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Accounting Officer to join our Chatswood office. Work in a collaborative environment, where your contribution ensures timely and efficient outcomes for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier and customer invoices, ensuring accurate entry and coding in MYOB.
• Support end-of-month and end-of-year financial activities and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Perform ad hoc accounting tasks as required.

About You:

• 5+ years experience in an AR & AP role.
• 5+ years experience using MYOB for accounting tasks.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot, formula).
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Can contribute as a team member within a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with external stakeholders professionally by phone and in person.
