Multinational manufacturer based in Melbourne’s western suburbs is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Officer. With a substantial global footprint and a range of products servicing a broad market they continue to develop new technology to remain at the forefront of their industry. A mature business, they continue to enjoy a substantial market position across the globe servicing a wide variety of customers.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager your day to day duties will include:

• Manage of both accounts payable and receivable duties
• Weekly bank account reconciliation
• Responsible for the weekly payroll of 40 employees
• Preparation of BAS, Excise, Payroll tax, PAYG, Super and Workcover
• General adhoc administrative duties

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar finance role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with an ERP system
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
