About the Role
As an APS 5 Human Resource (HR) Advisor, you will work under limited direction to support the Assistant Director in developing and coordinating employee engagement activities, frameworks, and projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our client's strategic direction and culture while ensuring that employees feel valued and recognised.
What You Will Do
- Lead key engagement projects, including the annual APS Employee Census and other employee satisfaction surveys.
- Analyse employee metrics and prepare reports, briefs, and documentation for governance committees.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive engagement programs.
- Create engaging communication materials across multiple platforms, including intranet, email newsletters, and digital screens.
What You Will Bring
- Experience working in a human resource or employee engagement role.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills to produce high-quality reports and briefs.
- Ability to interpret policies and legislation to support decision-making.
- Excellent attention to detail and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative mindset, demonstrating integrity, teamwork, and customer service.
- Willingness to develop knowledge of budgeting and procurement within HR functions.
- Experience in designing and delivering effective employee engagement initiatives.
