Your new role
As an APS5/6 HR Officer in a small agency, you will have a broad scope of work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and induction
- Providing HR advice, including Payroll support (Aurion experience desirable) and managing performance reporting cycles
- Maintain WHS incident reporting and employee records
- Drafting HR policies, reports and executive briefings
- Contribute to updating Common Law agreements
- Engaging directly with SES leaders and senior stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in HR operations, policy development, and payroll systems (Aurion experience is desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
- Proactive and flexible approach to managing a broad range of responsibilities
This role is only open to Australian citizens and you must have a current minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
