We’re looking for a talented, compassionate, and reliable Dog Groomer to join our friendly and professional team.

Job Description:
As a Dog Groomer at Brisbane Pet Motel, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of dogs one on one to help them look and feel their best. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a calm and positive environment for both pets and their owners. We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled but also loves working with animals!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services, including baths, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression.
• Handle dogs with care and ensure their comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations.
• Keep grooming tools and the salon clean and organised.
• Maintain accurate records for each dog’s grooming needs and preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with pet owners.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Dog Groomer.
• Passion for working with dogs and their well-being.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong attention to detail and grooming skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality grooming standards.
• Able to complete 4 grooms a day.
• Experience completing breed standard grooms to a high standard.
