Prestigious Yacht Club - Large Boatyard and Marina - Excellent opportunity

Sandringham Yacht Club is the largest yacht club in Victoria and one of the biggest in Australia. It has a 360 berth marina and a large and busy boat yard, serviced predominantly by onsite contractors.

We pride ourselves in providing exceptional service to our members and maintaining a safe, efficient and clean boat yard and marina.

We are seeking a motivated person to join our waterfront team. Responsibilities include operating the forklift, tractor and eventually the boat lift. You will be required to gain a solid understanding of all relevant health and safety regulations and ensure that they are followed by contractors and boat owners. Assisting to move boats within the marina and completing marina checklists is included in the role, plus ensuring that the boat yard is tidy, presentable and free of safety hazards.

This is a physical role requiring a reasonable level of fitness, strength and agility. Strong communication skills are essential, as there is significant contact with members, staff and contractors. Boating experience will be a significant advantage, drivers licence and forklift licence are essential. There will be an opportunity for training and skills development.
