Senior Business Analyst

PLEASE NOTE - THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO BE BASED IN MELBOURNE AND HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS

Daily rate: $900-1000 incl super
Duration: 6 months initially

Client:

Our client is a global, ASX listed organisation, based in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

• Lead communications to other internal teams (e.g., Service Management, Sales, Customer Service etc) and leadership groups (Steerco.) as required and participate in regular goal setting and review meetings.
• Lead goal setting (e.g., OKR) process and development of problem statements in conjunction with the team (Product Manager & Engineering Manager/Software Engineers) and ensure these are translated into goals with deliverable items and clear prioritization.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the customers in your team, and supporting priorities and requirements based on where impact can be most significant. Depending on your team, this may include:
• Elicit and analyse requirements and establish business rules at a cross team level as required.
• Interpret and analyse customer data to support product decisions and provide insights.
• Process mapping for multiple features across multiple teams.
• Lead the creation and definition of user scenarios.
• Lead a continuous improvement /continuous delivery culture between teams and aligning to industry trends where applicable.
• Coaching/mentoring other BA in Agile & team practices.
• Lead the development and facilitation of Agile ceremonies:
• Plan / facilitate large workshops (e.g., sub-domain wide) and meetings.
• Lead team / sub-domain leaders address any team issues identified from retrospectives.
• Lead issue / PIR management and define and raise dependencies and key risks/issues with mitigations, with assistance from the team.

Your experience:

• Previous end-to-end relationship management experience including being point of contact for Partners/Clients in relation to product delivery.
• SME in current domain able to represent stakeholders and other areas of business.
• Point of contact for other teams/streams regarding domain.
• Ability to train team members in domain and coach other BA's.
• Identify new opportunities in domain as well as risks and challenges.
• Ability to define and own Roadmap in place of Product Manager / Engineering Manager and manage priorities of requirements and scope.
• Ability to interpret analysed data and make observations and recommendations based on analysis outcomes.
• Ability to coach/mentor in analysis, data extraction tools, query formulation, excel data manipulation etc.
• Highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively deliver and report on ongoing development or project success.
