We are currently seeking a professional and welcoming Medicinal Cannabis Clinic Advocate/Administrator to join our team. Role Overview:
As a a Horizon Health Clinic Adovocate, you will be a point of contact for patients and admin, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support. Your role will involve managing patient appointments, handling enquiries, and maintaining smooth office operations. You will also assist in coordinating with healthcare professionals and ensuring all administrative tasks are carried out efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing accurate information related to medicinal cannabis services.
- Assist patients with registration and intake processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy and data protection policies.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely follow-up and communication with patients.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Support the team with any other administrative duties as required.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred. Experience in healthcare or medicinal cannabis is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with medical office procedures, patient confidentiality, and relevant regulations is an advantage.
- Compassionate: A friendly, approachable attitude with a desire to help patients navigate their medicinal cannabis journey.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using office software and patient management systems.
- Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with medical and administrative teams.
