Shield and Shine Services is seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, site security, and effective communication with various stakeholders, including tenants, government representatives, and the public. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide concierge services, offering a welcoming and professional presence

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises

• Deliver excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and members of the public

• Liaise with tenants, including corporate and government entities, to address security concerns

• Monitor CCTV systems, identifying and responding to security incidents

• Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and security matters

• Enforce site policies and procedures while ensuring a safe and secure environment

• Respond to emergencies, following appropriate protocols and escalation procedures

Key Requirements:

• Valid QLD security licence (monitoring, unarmed, crowd controller)

• Current First Aid and CPR

• Previous experience in concierge security, patrols, or customer-facing roles preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to write clear and concise reports

• High level of professionalism and personal presentation

• Ability to work independently

• Proficiency in using CCTV and security monitoring systems
