Clarity Partners are currently working with a leading mining producer. They are seeking a talented Management Accountant with mining production experience to join their dynamic finance team.

Position Overview:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and reporting. This role will play a key part in the businesses' operational success and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights to guide business decisions.
• Oversee cash flow management and liquidity planning, optimising working capital.
• Conduct variance analysis and develop actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Mentor junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Prepare financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CA qualified
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar position.
• Big 4 or big 6 experience highly desirable
• Mining production experience essential
• Strong understanding of financial principles, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
