About the role → This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mader Group as an Underground Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic based in the WA Goldfields. Backed by a 3,200 strong workforce, we are dedicated to helping our customers enhance their operations through optimal fleet and plant performance. With a focus on safety and efficiency, you will work closely with the wider maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and productivity across the site.
Work at Underground mine sites in the Goldfields alongside the biggest maintenance clients in the game.

What you'll be doing
- Maintenance, servicing and breakdowns on Sandvik, Normett, Altas Copco & CAT heavy diesel equipment.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and inspections on a wide range of heavy machinery
- Effectively troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work carried out
What we're looking for
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience servicing and repairing heavy mobile plant and equipment used in the mining industry
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Valid Australian driver's license
