Savva & Roubis is a well-established boutique practice located in Bondi Junction, specialising in taxation, business services & consulting. We are a 4 minute walk from Bondi Junction train station and bus terminal, located above the Westfield Shopping Centre.

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our motivated and professional team, on a casual basis.

The successful applicant will be required to deliver a high-quality bookkeeping service to an assortment of clients across multiple industries.

Experience in Xero and MYOB is essential. Ideally you will be able to problem solve, have a high attention to detail, and display high levels of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconciling bank feeds in MYOB & Xero
• Processing payroll for clients either on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis
• Filing Single Touch Payroll, financial year end reconciling and finalisation
• Processing super through the ATO Small Business Clearing House, MYOB and Xero
• Prepare and lodge IAS and BAS for clients
• Investigate and resolve ad hoc client issues in Xero & MYOB

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience ideally within a public practice environment
• High level of experience using MYOB & Xero
• Good organisational skills, ability to multitask and prioritise work efficiently
• Flexibility to changing priorities and work demands
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Self-motivated & ability to work autonomously
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
