The Role
We are seeking a highly driven and independent Business Development Manager to lead new business growth in the hospitality sector. This is a hunter role, not account management—we need someone who can identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive revenue growth across Australia.
As a key part of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, expanding our market presence, and closing high-value deals with hotels, resorts, and hospitality businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business growth strategy to expand our presence in the hospitality industry
- Identify, prospect, and engage decision-makers in hotels, resorts, and accommodation providers
- Sell Managed WiFi solutions, internet services, CCTV, Casting, and other hospitality tech
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, negotiating contracts and long-term agreements
- Work closely with the Sales Director to align strategies and sales objectives
- Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the hospitality industry to drive market penetration
- Identify emerging technology trends and potential opportunities for new product offerings
- Travel across Australia as required to engage clients and close deals
What We’re Looking For
- A natural people person who enjoys meeting new people
- Proven experience in business development or B2B sales. Experience with WiFi, networking, internet services, or tech solutions beneficial but not required.
- A hunter mentality—comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and securing new business
- Experience in selling to the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, holiday parks, serviced apartments, etc.) is highly desirable
- Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills, able to tailor solutions to client needs
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive long-term growth
- Self-motivated and independent, capable of working without direct supervision
- Willingness to travel nationally to meet clients and attend industry events
