We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified Food Technology Assistants to join our Food Technology Department. This part-time position (0.2) requires the successful applicant to work on Mondays.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Food Technology Teachers, ensuring the smooth delivery of curriculum.
• Ensure a safe and effective learning environment for students.
• Prepare and maintain food technology equipment and ingredients.
• Assist with class demonstrations, manage food safety protocols, and support the teacher during practical lessons.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A relevant qualification or experience in food technology, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• A Food Handling Certificate is essential
• First Aid certificate preferred.
• Valid Working with Children’s Check, or willingness to acquire one.
