About the Position
We are seeking a passionate Sous Chef to be part of a high-performing kitchen team in a stunning regional setting. With a focus on delivering exceptional culinary experiences, you will work closely with a talented Head Chef while enjoying strong group-level support. A salary of $85K-$90K is on offer, plus a chance to develop your skills in an established and growing hospitality group.
Position Description
- Support the Head Chef in leading kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food and service.
- Oversee food preparation and service, maintaining consistency and excellence.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient team culture.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
- Assist in menu execution, cost control, and stock management.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless dining experiences.
- 4 day work week!
Position Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a premium high-volume dining environment.
- Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training and supervision.
- Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong experience in fine dining events and weddings.
