About the Position

Position Description
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest culinary standards.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a passionate team of chefs.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary Director on menu execution and innovation.
  • Maintain strict food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Manage supplier relationships and oversee stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Control costs, drive efficiency, and uphold profitability targets.
Position Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
  • Passion for excellence in food, service, and presentation.
  • Experience managing food costs, stock, and supplier relationships.
  • Understanding of compliance, food safety, and kitchen operations with relevant qualifications required.
  • A hands-on, 'cooperative approach to running a successful kitchen including working a flexible 7-day roster.
