We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior Solutions Architect to join our team. This role requires strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to influence at all levels.

About the role

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for developing Solution Architectures for projects and programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategic goals. You will work closely with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, and Platform Architects, covering multiple architecture domains and ensuring compliance with financial industry regulations.

This role requires experience in financial services, preferably in banking or insurance, along with expertise in Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) and hands-on experience in digital projects, such as omnichannel, customer experience, and cross-sell strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Solution Architectures aligned with enterprise strategic goals;
• Ensure architectural compliance with financial industry regulations and risk frameworks;
• Review and scrutinise low-level designs to ensure optimal solution delivery;
• Lead stakeholder engagement, working closely with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, and IT leadership;
• Provide program-level architectural monitoring, guidance, and project assurance;
• Support DXP architecture, integrating Adobe technologies into omnichannel strategies;
• Balance high-level strategy development with technical deep dives when necessary; and
• Collaborate within a team of 6-8 architects, including other platform architects, to drive architectural excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will need

• Experience in financial services (banking preferred), with a strong understanding of risk and regulatory compliance;
• Strong background in Solution Architecture frameworks and processes;
• Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives;
• Expertise in DXP architecture and digital transformation projects (omnichannel, customer experience, and cross-sell initiatives);
• Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with low-level design scrutiny;
• Exceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligence (EQ); and
• Strong understanding of multiple architecture domains, ensuring holistic solutions.

This is a 12-month daily rate contract that will most likely be extended – $1100 – $1400 p/d
