The Office of the Director-General is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administration Trainee who thrives in a fast -paced environment. This is an opportunity that combines on-the-job training with formal education to develop foundational administrative skills. With responsibilities ranging from word processing, data entry to customer services, you will play a vital role in a high-performing team dedicated to strengthening Queensland's economic opportunities through training and workforce participation.
About the role
As the Administration Trainee, you will
• Provide administrative functions and support for all areas of the Director-General's office.
• Maintain confidential records and documentation.
• Participate actively in a diverse team, upholding the values of diversity and inclusion.
• Assist with routine office tasks, including photocopying, ordering stationery and stock control.
What we are looking for
What we are looking for:
• Basic computer literacy and competency in Microsoft Office or the ability to rapidly acquire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to undertake and complete a Certificate III in Business Administration within 12 months.
• Actively seeks to understand tasks clearly and works together with team members and other individuals to achieve shared objectives and goals.
