Hornibrook Bus Lines (part of Keolis Downer) is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join the asset management team at our Clontarf bus depot comprising of diesel and electric buses.

About the role
- Work in a team a team, providing preventative and reactive maintenance to Hornibrook’s fleet of buses.
- Assist the Leading Hand and Asset Manager in the mentoring and supervision of apprentices.
- Conduct routine servicing/maintenance and complete unscheduled repairs and maintenance as required.
- Carry out bus driving duties as required on our diesel bus fleet and electric bus fleet
About you
- Demonstrated skills with minimum two years’ experience in mechanical and maintenance and repairs of heavy or large vehicles (preferably service route buses) to a high standard.
- Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology - or equivalent.
- Current MR driving licence (HR Preferable).
- Demonstrated ability to undertake administrative tasks with proficiency in computer programs.
- Sound understanding and application of quality assurance, safety and environmental management systems.
- Proven capability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines and schedules.
- Familiar with Codes of Practice and their importance in the workplace.
