Responsibilities:

• Provide independent oversight, advice, and challenge to ensure adherence to the risk management framework and that risks are managed within appetite.
• Conduct Line 2 Oversight and Monitoring in line with the Integrated Assurance Plan.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance risk management frameworks and practices, strengthening resilience and ensuring compliance with CPS 230, FAR, and regulatory changes.
• Offer deep insights on current and emerging risks, including global best practices, and provide guidance on potential solutions for management.
• Support the delivery of high-quality, insightful Line 2 reporting for the Board and Leadership Team.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Deep knowledge of superannuation and investment management, including products, processes, risks, and controls.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction and investment management processes.
• 5-10 years of experience in a Risk Management or Compliance role.
• Expertise in investments, covering asset classes, financial instruments, and markets.
• Ability to optimise Compliance and Operational Risk frameworks to support business objectives.
• Proven experience working in high-performing teams within fast-paced environments.
• Critical thinker with strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide insights.
• Curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
