Your Role:
As a Graduate Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Manage a diverse NDIS caseload, tailored specifically to your professional goals and the types of clients you’re passionate about supporting, all with ongoing support and guidance.
- Conduct face-to-face client therapy sessions and assessments.
- Write comprehensive reports and develop therapeutic resources.
- Liaise effectively with clients’ care teams, including families and support workers.
- Provide direction and training to support staff and caregivers.
- Engage in regular supervision and mentorship sessions with an experienced OT.
- Set personal and professional goals collaboratively, enhancing your career path.
- Participate actively in service improvement initiatives, both in the office and out in the community.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or nearing completion).
- Current registration (or eligibility to register) with AHPRA.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Passion for working within the disability sector (NDIS).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
