About the role

Tuggerah OOSHC is seeking an experienced and dedicated OOSH Educator to join our dynamic team at our centre in Tuggerah, NSW. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to the development and care of children in our Outside School Hours Care (OOSH) program.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality care and supervision to children attending the OOSH program
• Implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities, games, and educational experiences to support the children's physical, social, and emotional development
• Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children
• Communicating effectively with parents/guardians and providing feedback on the children's progress
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborating with the OOSH team to continuously improve the program and services offered

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications in childcare, education, or a related field
• Experience working with children in an OOSH or similar setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Demonstrable creativity and enthusiasm in facilitating engaging and enriching activities for children
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• A genuine passion for supporting the development and wellbeing of children
• Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check certificates
