Marketing and Communications provide university-wide strategic marketing and communications advice and develop, manage and implement marketing and communications activities (including advertising) across all Griffith audiences including prospective and current students, staff, alumni, donors and corporate partners.

About the Opportunity
Positively impact Griffith University’s student recruitment outcomes by providing a point of contact with potential students and delivering responsive, high-impact and personalised support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance positive relationships and drive student recruitment and engagement activities.
- Represent the University through visits, showcases and careers events at educational institutions, workplaces and public expos to promote the University and provide information on programs, admissions policies and procedures.
- Conduct one-on-one Q&A consultation meetings with prospective students to assist them to apply for Griffith University and to meet agreed annual recruitment sales targets.
- Development and coordination of targeted direct call campaigns to improve conversion across prospective student cohorts.
- Data analysis, manipulation and reporting to identify and action key conversion activities, processes and solutions to enhance Griffith’s application, offer and enrolment pipeline outcomes.
- Contribute to data collation, analysis and reporting to identify and action key conversion activities, processes, and solutions to enhance Griffith’s application, offer and enrolment pipeline outcomes
- Provide regular feedback and insights into interactions within educational organisations and industry to inform decision making in relation to market demand and best practice.
- Provide high level support in the delivery of on-campus student recruitment events including Open Day, Mature Student Open Evenings, Discover Griffith, Future Leaders Retreat.
- Support compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including equity and health & safety and exhibit good practice in relation to same.
- Be a leading example of the principles and values embodied in the University’s Code of Conduct, and behave, act and communicate at all times to reflect fairness, ethics and professionalism.
About you
- The occupant of this position will hold a degree in marketing, public relations or communications and subsequent relevant work experience in sales or account management or an equivalent combination of education and/or training.
Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check. Please note sponsorship is not available for this role.
What we can offer
This is a 12 month contract based at Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
Salary is HEW 6 - Base range - $89,603.41 - $95,575.33 + 17% super. Full package range - $104,835.99 - $111,823.14
