Our client is a national company with Head Office in Osborne Park. The business supplies and maintains commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment to large supermarket and fast-food chains plus smaller, independent retailers. This is a long-established family business with a great working environment and a friendly, positive culture. Staff stay long term and it is a great place to work.
We are seeking an experienced HR/Compliance Officer to fill a 12 month Maternity Leave replacement. The successful applicant would commence in late March/early April, allowing for a handover and training. There is the option of working full-time hours or part-time hours (3 days per week) and the position would pay about $50 – 55 per hour plus super. There is always the possibility of the contract being extended beyond the 12 months.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Ensure company compliance with legislative requirements, be responsible for the accuracy & currency of documentation, and work with directors and employees to further company objectives in HR & IR.
This is a diverse role covering training in HR Procedures, Overseeing Injury Management, manage incidents, liaise with industrial bodies and external providers, assist with employee contracts, inductions, manage WA apprentice process and oversee staff welfare.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR APPLICATION:
- You will need a Diploma or higher in HR
- At least 5 years’ experience in all facets of HR
- Experience in Workers Compensations & Injury Management
- C class drivers licence
- Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
