About the Role

This position will undertake, and project manage structural and civil /structural and corporate infrastructure projects for a broad range of clients, including local government, state government and private developers.

Promoting Maloney and Sons Engineering to the civil and structural sector in QLD and NSW with the support and assistance of the Director in order to secure additional work.

Duties include:

• Engineering design and supervision of all urban development related projects, including as necessary any civil/structural infrastructure works
• Prepare designs, specifications and other tender documentation as well as clear and concise written reports
• Marketing of Maloney and Sons Engineering civil/structural planning and construction engineering services
• Pursuing additional work for Maloney and Sons Engineering for both private and public sector clients
• Assistance and training to junior staff as required

About You

Essential Requirements

• Ability to work in Australia
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Certification as Registered professional Engineer RPEQ
• Eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia.
• 10 years’ experience in structural/civil engineering
• Strong Communication both written and verbal
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Sound computer skills
• Sound Project Management Experience
• Sound technical skills including the use of project management software and microsoft suite
