BlackWattle Engineering is the Australian arm of Brooklynz Stainless Steel Pte Ltd, a Singaporean-based specialist tier 1 company involved in the design, fabrication & installation of customized metal structures, especially stainless-steel products for construction across the Pacific Rim. Position: Engineering Manager (Full-time)

Salary: From $150,000 to $160,000 per year

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to coordinate project activities, define product specifications, develop conceptual and final design solutions, manage and coordinate project activities, and support existing product offerings.

Key Job Responsibilities are:

• To develop schedules and budgets for projects in line with engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timeliness, and performance.
• To oversee the creation of technical documents and ensure adherence to quality, budget, and schedule.
• To coordinate among the Engineers, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• To determine, implement, and monitor engineering strategies, policies, and plans for the work order.
• To explain and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications, and provide advice on engineering methods and procedures to achieve construction and production requirements.
• To ensure conformity with specifications and plans, and with laws, regulations and safety standards.
• To coordinate marketing, research, and manufacturing managers regarding engineering aspects of new construction and product design

What you'll need to succeed:

At least 5 years’ experience as an Engineering Manager.

Strong leadership and project management experience.

Proven ability to manage resources, budgets, and schedules.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
