This is a Permanent Part Time position (Min 20 Hours per week on average 38 hour per week).

You must have the motivation and flexibility to work on a 7 day/ 38-hour rotational shift roster.

What you’ll be doing
  • Ensure smooth operation of Cargo warehouse by facilitating the seamless movement of import and export cargo between customers and clients' aircraft.
  • Perform customer service tasks, including cargo reservation bookings, track and trace, and quoting as well as address telephone and customer inquiries related to import/export cargo matters.
  • Prepare airway bill documentation, information, and manifests for flights. Verify AWB data, rate charges, schedules, and routings for freight.
  • Process special handling requirements for items like dangerous goods, animals, human remains, and perishables.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholder to aid in locating lost, damaged, and delayed shipments.
  • Working with your team to ensure that cargo documentation is collected directly from aircraft and the necessary regulatory clearances are secured.
  • Manage ULDs (Unit Load Devices), including compiling records and processing messaging to airline customers, as well as dispatching telex messages for both inbound and outbound cargo and mail.
What we need from you
  • Motivated and flexible to work on a 7-day rotational shift roster in alignment with flight schedules
  • Hold a valid Australian's driver license.
  • Professional, approachable, and warm communication style with keen attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering solution-based outcomes.
  • Capacity to anticipate needs, adapt quickly, and remain flexible to meet deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication, emphasizing attention to detail, and exceptional stakeholder service skills, particularly with airline partners
  • Proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite
  • Previous administration experience preferred but not mandatory. Exposure to a blue-collar workforce is advantageous.
