About the Barista role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to be part of our high-standard team at Higher Ground. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for coffee, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to inspire and mentor a team of baristas. This is a hands-on role, where you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in coffee preparation, service, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead with Passion: Inspire and mentor a team of baristas, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
- Craft Memorable Experiences: Deliver exceptional service and create outstanding coffee moments for every guest.
- Quality Excellence: Uphold the highest standards in coffee preparation, maintaining consistency in every cup.
- Drive Innovation: Stay ahead of coffee trends, experimenting with techniques and offerings to keep our menu fresh.
- Efficient Operations: Manage inventory, ensure equipment is maintained, and minimise waste to optimise operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Barista or Senior Barista in a high-volume, specialty coffee setting.
- Expertise in coffee beans, brewing methods, and espresso machines.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to elevate team performance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities..
