We have an opportunity available for an experienced Commi Chef to work 20+ hours per week. This is a all rounder role so we are looking for you to be confident to work across all sections in our main restaurant kitchen. Ideally you will come from a large restaurant, resort or busy cafe environment.

With multiple food and beverage outlets, our main restaurant Azure Bar and Grill overlooks our beautiful lagoon pool, offering a buffet breakfast and A la Carte menu for Lunch and Dinner. Our poolside dining menu caters to guests who are relaxing by our Lagoon pool. Breeze Cafe has its own unique menu, that has been designed to specifically cater to the poolside dining experience for our guests to enjoy. We offer a high quality, award winning dining experience with a strong emphasis on local fresh produce, our kitchen caters for multiple food and beverage outlets across the resort.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a busy restaurant or high volume Cafe
• Full availability including weekends and public holidays
• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications, Min Cert III Commercial Cookery
• Able to adapt to busy periods with a sense of urgency
• Willingness to learn great techniques
• Able to follow recipes and plan your time accordingly
• Actively demonstrate pride in your work
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
• Only applicants that have permanent resident status or unrestricted rights to work in Australia will be considered
