We are seeking a highly motivated Dental Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist to join our busy practice. With 5 surgeries across Tasmania, we are a dynamic practice with patient-centred focus providing general, cosmetic and surgical dentistry with state of the art equipment. You will work alongside multiple dentists and an Oral Health Therapist in a supportive and flexible environment, with attentive and dedicated dental assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
• Perform professional dental cleanings and preventive treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with dentists to assist with orthodontic procedures
• Taking orthodontic records for dentists using an iTero scanner
• Treating paediatric patients restorative work including stainless steel crowns
• Able to work with dental assistant
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications:

Degree in Oral Health Therapy or Dental Hygiene

Ideally Adult scope preferred but not required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
