The Role:

This position plays a key role in the management and maintenance of the Council’s elite sporting grounds. The Supervisor Sports Ground will oversee all sports ground maintenance activities carried out by staff and contractors, considering best practice modern turf management practices.

About You:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in supervising field staff and managing contractors in a Turf/ Sport Ground Management environment. They will have sound experience in the management of elite level sport turf surfaces, with highly developed expertise in pest and disease identification and treatment. They will have a demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service, along with the ability to provide technical advice in the development and management of maintenance schedules.
