Long-term daily rate contract (initial contract for 12-months) available for a Data Project Manager. Hybrid role where the successful candidate can be based in Sydney or Melbourne. Australian Citizenship is required for this role.

Our client is a large data-driven insurance business that is looking for a Data Project Manager to lead large-scale projects across Data Engineering/Platforms including an on-prem to cloud transformation for their EDW which will enhance the scalability and efficiency of data operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead cross-functional teams of Data Business Analysts, Data Engineers and Architects/Modellers for a new cloud EDW implementation
• Work closely with the Program Director, external vendors and internal teams

About you:

• 7+ yrs experience leading Cloud Data Platform/EDW-related projects
• Strong communication skills and leadership qualities
• Strong experience implementing cloud data warehouse solutions Snowflake, Teradata Vantage or Databricks
