About the role

NELSON EXHAUST' is seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Rocklea, Queensland. This is a full-time position responsible for fabricating high-quality custom exhaust systems for the heavy diesel industry.

What you'll be doing

• Fabricate and weld exhaust systems to precise specifications
• Interpret technical drawings and diagrams to guide the fabrication process
• Operate a range of welding equipment, including MIG and TIG
• Use hand and power tools to cut, bend and shape exhaust components
• Perform quality checks and adjustments to ensure finished products meet required standards
• Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an exhaust fabricator or welder
• Strong welding skills and experience with 1.6mm to 3mm materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What we offer

At NELSON EXHAUST', we offer a 5-day working week 39.5 hours - 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am- 3.30pm Friday. Working in a small team environment.
