If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional eCommerce results, and have a flair for eCommerce, merchandising and web development, we want to meet you!
The successful candidate will foremost have 3+ years of Shopify experience including experience using the wider Shopify app ecosystem. Additional web development experience is highly valued.
This is not a maintenance role and not for someone who wants to simply manage an online store. It's for someone proactive who is always testing, always learning; in touch with what's happening across the business and industry and strives to improve everyday. About The Role
This is a unique opportunity to work for one of Australia’s most beloved food & lifestyle product companies that's now pushing hard to take ecommerce to the next level. We're a small team who work at full speed whilst having a blast every day. As our eCommerce Specialist, you’ll be essential in crafting an outstanding digital experience.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
- Manage Shopify Updates: Oversee daily and campaign-related updates across our eCommerce websites, including site wide sales, new product launches, and key merchandising efforts.
- Optimize User Experience: Enhance eCommerce touch points by ensuring that copy, imagery, and layout all meet customer needs and drive engagement.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Work closely with our Web Developer to address and resolve any web issues, including app bugs or site glitches.
- CRO performance updates: Be constantly improving the trading performance of our sites. We never sit still.
- Performance Reporting: Analyze and report on eCommerce performance weekly, providing actionable insights and recommendations for creative and technical tactics to improve.
Your Experience:
- Technical Proficiency: 3+ years with Shopify.
- Technical know-how: You’ll have in-depth knowledge of the tech stack and media platforms relevant to DTC businesses. A data driven decision maker who understands Shopify conversion optimization and digital marketing.
- Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: You can manage multiple projects and tight deadlines with ease, staying efficient and focused.
- Outstanding Communication Skills: Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication.
- Proactive and Organised: Takes initiative with a hands-on approach to tasks and show superior time management skill
- Customer Focused: Always prioritises the needs and experiences of customers in every decision.
- eCommerce Expertise: Deep understanding of eCommerce principles and best practices.
- Passion for Cooking: A genuine interest in food and cooking will be a great addition to our team’s energy.
Role details:
- Full-time Position: Enjoy a friendly, creative, and collaborative working environment based in our Melbourne office.
- Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 p.a
